Watched online, poor print, blurry.

No songs in the Soundtracks, but many songs performed and/or in score. This was like a music video for a concept album.

I left the writers on here to show what a vanity project this was. MJ also produced.

Rated 5.0 by 117 IMDb voters, I'm right with them.

I've never appreciated MJ or the Rolling Stones. I'm not really a hard-rock person, and his voice and antics are anti-entertaining to me.

MJ is playing MJ; JH is playing JH. I can't imagine why MJ would imagine he would be kidnapped, only to become a worker on a banana plantation. His car gets shoved into a body of water, so when it's recovered with his passport, he's assumed dead. Therefore, when he finally reaches a phone to call home, they assume it's a hoax. RDC turns a coin for a phone call into a grub stake for a night at a casino, and they earn enough to fly him home. Not sure what happened to her. He's last seen rehearsing with a non-RS band while still under wraps. The End.

The print was awful, so this was no fun to look at, but it also was filmed very hand-held with a lot of extreme closeups, and this is not a face you want to see that much and that thoroughly.

The only good thing I can say about this: they had flown to Rio to shoot a music video, and then director (by DH) creates a set in a studio that is the streets of NYC. That's pretty funny. But then a bunch of people in Brazilian costumes shows up, and things get so out of control that DH can't find a way down from his camera crane. This was an early scene, and things went downhill from there.

IMDb bio page lists MJ & JH having 2 children by now, but didn't marry until '90, had 2 more children, and annulled the marriage in '99. They were scripted to be very angry toward each other, which was another interesting choice.

Avoid.
