PDQ Bach has many mock works of classical music. This opera in English could use subtitles (and the dvd does NOT have them).
This IS cute, with many pop music and other culture references. For instance, one of the arias is My Dog Has Fleas, based on that 4-note ukelele test. Of course, it also mocks opera.
If the dvd had subtitles, I might have bought it. Given my experience with VAI, I wouldn't expect the dvd images to look better than the online copy.
