Watched online, good print, poor server (lots of buffering after 6pm).

9 songs in the Soundtracks.

Shares 4 character names with Oliver Twist (Dickens is among 20 credited writers): Oliver, Dodger, Fagan, Sykes; 1 kitten, 1 dog, 2 humans. The street gang are dogs.

I only listed the names whose voices I recognized, plus Oliver (JL) and Sykes (RL). DD played a cowardly Fagin. BM was the snooty poodle.

Oliver gets into the gang by Dodger recruiting him to help steal some hot dogs, but then runs off with them for himself, so Oliver follows him all the way to their camp. Oliver gets harassed, but "adopted". Later he crosses paths with a little rich girl who adopts him, much to the chagrin of her prize-winning poodle. The gang "rescue" him, but he wants to return to the pampered life.

Fagin's in trouble with Sykes, and I started to lose interest. The long elaborate high-speed chase really didn't play well (buffering), and is not my cup of tea, especially when animated.

We have some real singer-actors here, and the music was ok. But the story... too many chefs?

I was on the fence about 5+ or 6-, and decided to be generous because of the buffering.
