Watched online, mediocre print, and the song "written by" the computer is silence. Look for another print.

22 songs in the Soundtracks, only a couple of classical pieces were seen performed.

Cute romcom about a PC who falls for its owner's girl. But what's cute is the fantasy about what a computer could do (and still can't, really): compose music & lyrics, intercept television, learn to speak with a human, and send itself a huge charge of electricity by phone to commit suicide.

This computer is just a desktop, not so cute as the robot in Short Circuit ('86). But it's interesting to watch it learn and become sentient. I don't remember any indication of a private hookup to any network; the internet doesn't get commercial until the late 80's per Wikipedia. The owner is an architect using the computer to develop an earthquake resistant brick.

VM plays a cellist, and the computer plays a duet with her, although she doesn't know it's the computer. I don't think LV shares that info with anyone.

So some music is classical, and the rest is disco, with Culture Club/Boy George and Giorgio Moroder appearing frequently in the Soundtrack.

So the film is ok, but nothing really appealing.
