Watched online, miserable print, blurry.

3 songs in the Soundtracks, but not The Continental, which was sung by RL more than once. Trying to watch the credits is awful, but I think it listed ~17 songs.

I had previously toyed with buying a copy of this, and my eyes are sorry I didn't. Unfortunately, it's only on WAC, so no one is selling a copy cheap.

Although writer/director Reiner seems to love the old musicals, the dancing is not filmed head-to-toe, few cuts. And RL seems able to move well enough to watch without editor assistance. He's been in some stage musicals (but don't know the dancing required).

Another cautionary tale about the cruelty of H'wood, but with a happy ending to make people think it's worthwhile.

I've put this on my wantlist in case a good discount comes along. I'd like to see a decent copy, especially since this may be the closest thing to a real musical this year. RL really does break out into song in the midst of a normal situation. But it lands him more than 1 opportunity to do so professionally, and we see those numbers too.
