I can understand why this is rated 8.0 by almost 117k IMDb voters. I've seen this more than once before, so nothing is new, and the milieu is uninteresting, so the humor falls flat for me.
The one moment I liked today: given that this British band started in the mop-top 60s, and evolved through at least 1 other style before going heavy metal, I did find it amusing that losing their lead guitarist made them toy with jazz for a bit (and it sounded good for the few notes they played.) But that was so far afield that it was funny.
So, a shrug from me.
