disc recently arrived.

Antecedent doc'y to Music of the Heart (1999), 8, which starred Meryl Streep who played the teacher shown in this doc'y.

Well done film, with very little narration. RG is shown teaching very early students, and preparing for a school concert and for the benefit concert at Carnegie Hall where her students played with 14 violin greats, including IS and Itzhak Perlman.

The MS film does a better job showing the struggles of the students, but the doc'y shows the amazing success of the students, and we know these are the real deal.

Worthwhile regular viewing with its companion film.
