19 songs in the Soundtracks, but not a music/al.

Cute comedy, characters, & voices. Doesn't bother me to recognize the male voices. They're well cast & performed.

Especially liked Monsieur Hood & the Merry Men; wish their dance was longer. (No mention of Mel Brooks in the c.track.)

Loved that Fiona was so capable of felling multiple men with her martial arts skills.

Disappointed by the c.track/extra features. They briefly mentioned that the incredibly expressive computer animation of faces (esp. Shrek) was attributed to prior film Antz ('98), but watching that trailer doesn't compare (and I don't want to listen to Woody Allen in that.) So maybe the advances in animation are so deeply in the bowels of programming code that the directors+producer have no stories to tell about this breakthrough. (This film took ~4 years to create.)

They (directors+producer) got very choked up when the story resolved. It did not have that effect on me.

I am glad there are more movies & I bought them; I'm ready for the saga to continue.
