American concert of the 1996 world tour of the 3 Tenors.
Stars: José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti.
Watched online, ok print.
No songs listed in the Soundtracks. This is not the same program as performed in Dodger Stadium 1994, but I could not tell you how much it differs.
The nice thing about this concert is we have the PBS announcer giving bits of tenor trivia while they walk on/off stage, and announcing the song titles/composers.
This print was clearly taped off air, because we have vhs artifacts where the pledge breaks were excised.
While looking for an image (the one above is purported to be from Vancouver, later in the year), I stumbled upon a Wikipedia page for these concerts. Per that page, in all these 3 tenors gave 34 concerts together. This is the 4th on the '96/97 world tour, and they have a handful of world tour dates most years through 2003, when they stopped. (LP died in '07 at age 71 from pancreatic cancer; diagnosed 18 mos before death; both JC & PD are still living).
This is still a lot of fun. I built a playlist of the various concerts I found online, and London '96 is playing now. It might be roughly the same songlist as Giants Stadium.
