16 songs in the Soundtracks, none performed by the cast.
Hoped that JG in a movie about a nightclub would have some musical performances; none.
It's just a small-time gangster story set in the 30s where EM & JG can get seated in a predominantly white restaurant (huh?).
The funniest sequence was Arsenio Hall going over the top with grief when he discovers his brother dead, thinking EM did it, and while in this high-grief state, tries to catch up with him and kill him with big Tommy guns. And the humor there was pretty sad, with AH shooting his own man accidentally. But AH himself was so broad that it was an amusing scene.
Very pretty sets and clothes.
