Wow: IMDb user(s) actually listed dozens of songs from the film in the Soundtracks. They were not credited onscreen.
I did not check to see if the list of Connections is complete, at least for the clips with origin announced.
Very enjoyable sampling of (~60) MGM musicals, with a few non-musical clips added to show, for instance, EW's 1st film.
Due to my negligence in compiling the to-watch list, I didn't watch That's Entertainment! (1974) or That's Entertainment, Part II (1976) as part of this quest. I can only guess that they compiled this film at this time to pump up the home video (vhs and laser disc, no dvd yet) sales.
I also found it interesting that the hosts' segments were filmed on MGM sound stages. Apparently they still exist in some form, owned by Sony, but back when the host segments were filmed, I don't know know who owed them. (Turner bought MGM in '86, but sold the production company a couple of years later, and the Wikipedia article stops being specific about who owned it when during the early 90s during several changes in ownership.)
