Watched online, ok visually, but the Italian was NOT subtitled, and at least half the film was Italian dialog.

18 songs in the Soundtracks, many arias from opera.

The few reviews I looked at didn't mention the lack of subtitles, so it must be the idea of the person who posted the print. The plots that I could not follow didn't look any more interesting than the ones I could.

WA travels to Rome to meet his daughter's fiance and family. The father of the groom has a great singing voice in the shower. He's never sung professionally, but newly retired WA wants to promote his voice/career; WA was a classical/opera producer/stager. But the shower-singer can't perform dry, so WA puts a shower onstage, both in concert and in a production of Pagliacci. Italian critics liked the singer's voice, hated the shower.

AB is involved as a fantasy figure in the other English storyline with a young  architecture student living with his gf get invaded by a gf of the gf, and finds himself attracted to her. AB is some sort of harbinger of doom who talks only with the student architect. Perhaps it's supposed to be older self visiting younger self; I dunno.

In an Italian storyline, RB is a seemingly ordinary Italian office worker who suddenly becomes famous for nothing. Since fame is highly prized, he gets lots of perks.

And the other Italian story involves a couple, either newly married or about to be, who get separated because the girl gets lost. The boy is meeting 2 upscale elderly couples, and passes PC off as wife/gf. PC is dressed like a hooker, or someone who hasn't changed out of her date clothing from 20 hrs ago.

I didn't find another copy that wasn't dubbed into some 3rd language, and I'm not going to pursue it.
