OK gospel and soul music, but tedious plot; feels like the pilot for a soap opera.
QL and DP are rivals for control of the church choir, which competes with other church choirs. Plus DP's ill-behaved (but great voiced) grandson lusts after QL's daughter. QL has marital problems (husband volunteered to do an extra tour overseas).
Big eyeroll.
