6 songs in the Soundtracks in the theatrical release.

It's only 90min but seemed longer to me. Too much RW & GG. Far more visual gags than I can catch, and I'm not interested in staring at the screen to even try.

Plot: rich girl/poor boy romance, evil trusted advisor to the sultan wants that power, genie grants wishes but wants to be free.

Best character: the flying carpet. It has no arms, legs, head or voice, but emotes like crazy. The animators' c.track likens it to Chaplin. I agree, except he had a face and used it.

I couldn't get through the director/producer c.track; the 3 of them couldn't share the time, talking over each other. The woman especially got interrupted, although it may have been one of the men who interrupted both the other man and the woman. Plus it seemed like their entire commentary consisted of naming people who worked on stuff. At least the animators had something to say other than names.

I wonder how much my reaction to RW's death colors my reaction to this film: shrug.
