NOT a musical. Thought about skipping it, but then again maybe it lives up to its rating. Not for me.
It's not strictly kiddie korb, but it's David Spade in Spades, and I'm not a fan. JG and PW were also extremely recognizable voices, which I don't like. Oddly, EK was by far the least "herself" among these 4 stars, and maybe if she'd been more recognizable, I would have liked it a little more.
This emperor is self-absorbed in a modern way, despite the "ancient" setting (not sure where we're supposed to be). Amazing that JG persists in rescuing him, because it seemed highly likely DS would still destroy JG's village to build his summer home. Of course, this being Disney, DS finally reformed in the final scene.
Mercifully shortish, I didn't get time to really work up a grudge against this. But I can't imagine watching it again.
