Today I wasn't in the mood to stare at the screen, so I didn't absorb as much as I should, so I'll stay with my prior rating.
This is by far the best post-Fosse interpretation of his work that I know of, and that's been officially recorded. That's due to the presence of many dancers who worked directly with Fosse in the past, and especially the involvement of GV & AR.
A lot of these routines are from films. It would be fun to load up the dvd of the film and run it in parallel with these performances, especially to see how the film was edited by Fosse instead of the TV director's choices.
I often wished the costumes included white piping or socks to contrast with the black floor and background. (When they switched to a gold backdrop the costumes were also gold. Ugh.)
