26 songs in the Soundtrack, but many, Written by Stephen Warbeck, seem to be underscore. We do see NC leading his men in singing opera, and he plays mandolin.
This is based on a novel.
Interesting story, well acted & filmed. The ending may be too H'wood. The atrocities of war are horrific, as is the toll on the local village.
Plot confusions: the woman who was hung, I think as collaborator, was she CB's sister, and why was she considered collab. Also, was CB engaged to PC or actually married.
