Last of 13 films for JH; she created this role on B'way and won a Tony.
Per IMDb trivia: last musical produced by the Freed unit; last of "13" collaborations of Freed & Minnelli. Freed has 1 more producer credit, not a musical: Light in the Piazza (1962).
Gerry Mulligan appears as JH's blind date, and (per his IMDb bio) was in a long-term relationship with JH from '58-'65 (her death).

Totally charming, and JH steals every scene, which is no small feat against DM & JS. DM is also scrumptious; wish he'd made more like this.
Running joke: JH receives a dress from an opera singer, supposedly a costume from La traviata, and when people see it they say it looks like something out of Traviata. But Traviata was first performed in 1853, and traditional staging uses costumes of that period: floor length. This red gown goes just below the knee.
