Follow-up to Miranda ('48), with GJ again as mermaid Miranda, and MR as the nurse who assists her on land.

Now GJ also plays a human identical cousin who agrees to allow Miranda come to land again while the cousin vacations elsewhere. Miranda decides to rearrange the cousin's love life, since her fiance is not to her liking. Fortunately, the cousin easily agrees with the change.

We also get a 2nd mermaid, friend to Miranda, who likes to steal things (dresses left on an accessible rock). She stays in the ocean.

Pleasant fare, but not enough for a +.
