The younger brother of the consulting detective tries to steal Sherlock's glory by solving an important case assisted by an eccentric Scotland Yard detective and a lovely but suspicious actress.
Director: Gene Wilder
Stars: Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, Dom DeLuise, Leo McKern.
Alan Johnson ... choreographer
Domini Winter ... assistant choreographer

Watched online, very poor playback. Other copies were shorter by 15m.

4 songs in Soundtracks; seemed like more songs than that.

Rated 5 on 2015-05-06. Don't have enough evidence to concur or change, but will upgrade to 6- just to give this another chance with a proper viewing. There might be a better copy online by then.

Not sure why writer/director Wilder (Gene, not Billy, who also did a Holmes comedy in '70) set our expectations for a "smarter" brother, not named Mycroft, BTW. If this is a smarter brother, then Sherlock would be a drooling idiot.

Does MK always play oversexed?

Fox & more, dir. Wilder; 6-
