Watched on AmazonPrime, good print on small screen; also on 2 megapacks I own.

This has one of the longest remake lists under Connections that I've seen (Three Musketeers being even longer, of course), but this is the only title in English.

This film does not hold my attention. Although we have substantial character actors here, this is nearly a 1-man show for DK. At least 6 songs are listed as performed by DK in the Soundtracks. Part of my problem may be the Sylvia Fine score; when I look at the songs, I cringe at the title Brodny, which is repetitive in an attempt to amuse, and just irritates me.

I could err on the generous side and give this a 6-, but even though I saw this in pieces, I'm convinced that I don't care for it. I really don't want to watch it again to confirm. I did have it tagged as a Netflix 3/5 rating, but that could have been generosity, since would be too severe. Maybe next time I'll prepare myself to give it a better attempt.
