Watched online, ok print.

45 songs in the Soundtracks, 10 Performed by Infant Sorrow, the band RB fronts here.

Really, I shouldn't like this. But somehow I find RB charming. He has a winning smile (and also non-winning smiles), and I've read most of an autobiography of his. I get the idea that he's very smart/educated, and he helps me understand the mess that is addiction. This film could have been based on his life, but he gets no credit for writing the film.

The story has a good ending (right moral choice) that is consistent with the goofy songs constructed for the rocker RB plays.

I believe JH was an employee (not an intern) of SC's record company. EM plays JH's live-in gf who's a doctor/intern. While JH is getting swept up into RB's lifestyle, EM is working crazy hours and gets a life-changing offer of her own.

I sorta liked it. Not enough to listen to its commentary track and therefore not enough to buy the disc today.
