I had low expectations, and they were met. I can't say I paid much attention, and the film didn't overly irritate me.

The "expert" skating was not interesting. These 4-roller skates are probably not super maneuverable, so they probably can't do ice skater caliber tricks.

The plot involved teens, which is outside of my usual interests. In addition to the poor boy + rich girl (LB) romance, we had a corrupt developer threaten life and property to coerce the sale of the roller rink, and the kids overheard this, but it took their discovery of a tape recording of the threat to finally halt the deal. In a major coincidence, rich girl's father was the attorney for corrupt developer, but abandoned his client when he heard the tape.

The most interesting thing in the film was LB's car. Here's an IMDb trivia entry abou it: "According to the message boards on StraightDrop.com, the car ... is The Excalibur SSK, "launched in 1964, it was one of the first 'nostalgia cars', which used the styling of a vintage model but incorporated modern running gear. It was designed to be an exact replica of the Mercedes SSK -- a car that collectors will happily pay millions for -- but it turned out to be a poorly executed, overpriced kit car...and the car was pretty nasty to drive.""
