Watched online; washed-out fuzzy print.

D for Dreadful, except that we get a fair amount of Benny Goodman music.

I crossed out the "two" in the synopsis because only 1 sister aspires to model. I don't remember what the other sister wants; she started as a schoolteacher in a small town, and an embarrassing photo made the cover of a national magazine, but she never signed a release. The photo cost her job, so she comes to NYC, where the mag has HQ, and sis extracts a price for the pic: she (not the injured party) gets into the JR Powers modeling agency.

When the latest septet of models graduates from training, they're introduced at an event, and followed by a lavish production number (not clear on venue, but it's a big stage with 3 levels, each more than 6"). Lots of ensemble dancing. Might be impressive if the print weren't horrid.

GM (who doesn't dance here) is the photographer who snapped the photo that started this, and is bouncing between sisters (at least his physical presence; not sure if his attraction was to both.) He wants to join the Army, and get called up. He escorts model-sister to the farewell party, so teacher-sis hires an escort to make him jealous. They fight, sort of, in the men's lounge, escort winning until he finds out GM will be his new lieutenant.

GM realizes/admits he loves teacher-sis, they marry, he goes off to the Army immediately after the ceremony. The End. But with BG numbers in between.
