BB meets ostrich feathers on dozens of girls at 50:30. Gorgeous; the movement of the feathers makes some formations a little more alive than usual.
Bette Davis' 19th film; 3rd year in H'wood; her breakout film, Of Human Bondage (1934) is 3 films away, several more to The Petrified Forest (1936). Powell's last film for WB. His next, Manhattan Melodrama (1934), was the beginning of his MGM years, followed immediately by The Thin Man (1934).
