Despite 3 songs in the Soundtracks, this is not a musical. 1 song was sung over the credits, 1 when DD was social dancing with RW; I'm not convinced the 3rd credit is a separate song.
This is fluff, although it has some interesting moments about the husband having to perform on demand when the wife tracks her cycle.
The synopsis is incorrect, of course. If he impregnated the investigator, then she's not a surrogate for the wife.
We never determine whether he actually slept with the investigator. He doesn't remember because he'd been popping tranquilizers.
The energy is right for this kind of farce, but it's just not an interesting story. I'm not a fan of RW, and although DD is very good as usual, the role could've have been executed by many others.
