Casanova's Big Night (1954), 6 Color {nm}

A meek tailor thinks his wooing will be helped if he assumes the identity of the famous Casanova...who's deeply in debt.
1h 26min | Adventure, Comedy, Musical | 7 April 1954 | Color
Director: Norman Z. McLeod
Stars: Bob Hope, Joan Fontaine, Audrey Dalton, Basil Rathbone.
Josephine Earl ... dances stager

Definitely not a musical; only 1 song performed. The only dancing is social, pre-waltz stuff.

Typical BH comedy. He's pretending to be someone else, needs to be brave when he's cowardly.

JF plays a woman competent in her business (grocery shop) and in swordplay. At one point, to hide themselves, they each wear clothing of the other gender.

It's cute but not great.
